Confirmation Class 2008

Synod met early every morning in communion followed by coffee, (lots of coffee) more prayer & song. Over 400 people from around the Diocese met talked laughed and cried together. We were inspired and heartened by the Holy Spirit which animated our every moment.
People have arrived and now our work began.

A time of joyous worship, a conga line at Synod – who would have guessed?
Our Huron youth have taken the lead on enviromental concerns and more than once showed their courage and willingness to take their place as the body of Christ.
Every voice was respected and heard in an atmosphere of love. We were all interwoven in the of fabric prayer, supported by parishes and the Anglican Fellowship of Prayer.
Communication and transformation were two key elements of our time together. In all there were 5 areas the Diocese would like our Parishes to concentrate on, Communication, Youth, Hospitality & Justice, Discipleship and Prayer & our relationship with God.

Christine came to Southern Trinity in August of 2007. She brings her husband, one son and one lovable old dog to join the unique family that is found here in the “banana belt” of Ontario.
